Hillcrest Orchards hosts the 18th annual "Apple Pickin' Jubilee" on Sept. and Oct. weekends featuring family friendly activities such as u-pick apples, wagon rides, cow milking, pig races,a petting farm, numerous playgrounds with giant slides and a jumping pillow. New for 2014, visit the new adventure area with an 18 hole mini gof course, a cow train ride and our new "Apple Adventure Children's Musem". You'll meet Johnny Appleseed, see the orchard through all four seasons, walk through the room of apple mirrors and visit with Betty cRocker in the apple kitchen. Complete your dizzying adventure as you exit through the vortex tunnel. When you're exhausted from chasing the kids around the farm sit back and enjoy great food while  you listen to country and bluegrass bands or watch cloggers on the Hillcrest stage. Visit the large farm market for shopping. It's filled with fresh picked apples, cold apple cider or slushies, baskets, kitchen gadgets and lots of canned goods including local honey. The bakery is turning out fried apple pies apple cider doughnuts, apple fritters, ice cream and fudge. Make Hillcrest your family's fall tradition.
