Bookers Run & Ride 5K or Duathlon & Fun Run

Description

Come out and support the Library by running a 5K or grabbing your bike and participating in a Duathlon. Great shirts & awards. Loads of fun. All proceeds go to Friends of the Dawson County Library.

5K Course will be an out & back using Allen St. & Perimeter Road…mostly flat, with a few hills thrown in for fun.

Duathlon course-the 1^st portion of the Duathlon will utilize Allen St. & Memory Lane and will be very flat (just under 1 mile). The bike will be an out and back up Hwy. 9 into Lumpkin County (approx. 15 miles) and the final run will follow the 5K course (3.1) miles.

Fun Run will be a flat single loop down memory lane & behind Food Lion, just under 1 mile.

Entry fees & registration

Registration by 10/6 is $25 for the 5K, $25 for the 10K, $15 for the Fun Run. All 5K & Duathlon participants are guaranteed a tech shirt. Fun Run participants have the option to receive a shirt.

Race Day schedule
7:00am…Race day registration & transition open. 8:30 am…5K & Duathlon both start. 9:30am…Fun run starts.

Late & Day registrations
Race day registrations are welcome for $5 more. Shirts will be available while supplies last.
