Career Coach is coming to Dawsonville
KH Long Government Center
189 HWY 53 West, Dawsonville , GA 30534
Tuesday, August 30th, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The mobile unit is an extension of the state’s one-stop workforce delivery system. It provides computer and internet access that helps meet the needs of the community in the following areas:
- resume and cover letter development
- online job searches
- career interest assessments
- skills testing
- mock interview simulation
- use of skill enhancing software
- exploration of training eligibility
Individuals seeking assistance through the GMWD must be a resident of one of our 13 counties or is/was employed by a company whose business is/was within the Georgia Mountains service area. Our Service Area is comprised of the following counties:
Banks, Dawson, Forsyth, Franklin, Habersham, Hall, Hart,
Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union and White
GMWD is operated by Georgia Mountains Regional Commission.
