Description
Join Amicalola Naturalist's for a rare moonlight hike to explore the night time beauty of our waterfall, the sounds of the mountain's nocturnal inhabitants, the history of Amicalola, and the colorful mountain lore of moonshine and NASCAR.
The hike will state at the ADA/West Ridge Trail parking lot at 7:30PM. Children will be given Glow-Sticks, and adults will be provided flashlights to help brighten their way. Children 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult. Hike is expected to last about ad hour.
Please remember, all trails at Amicalola Falls State Park are normally closed to all hikers during the hours of darkness. This is a rare opportunity for a moonlight view of Amicalola Falls.
