Vote "YES" for Transportation today! You have the opportunity to say "YES" to $44.8 million dollars for road improvements in Dawson County.
If this referendum passes, a one percent sales tax will be in place for 10 years. The tax cannot be extended beyond the 10 years unless it is approved by the voters.
All of the revenue generated in our region will stay in our region. $33+ million will be spent in Dawson County on four major projects. An additional $11 million will be available to maintain and improve local roads. An oversight committee of local citizens will assure that the projects are completed as planned.
This is our one chance to improve transportation in Dawson County and our region. There is no "Plan B". Please vote "YES" for transporation.
