Weekend Shift Supervisor-Fun Zone @ Freedom Mill

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Weekend Supervisor to oversee staff during the weekend shifts in our Fun Zone/Arcade Department. The Fun Zone is an entertainment facility including a giant playground, ball pit, indoor play area for kids 12 & under plus an arcade with 30+ games for all ages.

This Supervisory role is crucial in ensuring smooth day-to-day management, maintaining high standards of customer service and supporting the team which will be hosting birthday parties, running the arcade counter, cleaning the facility and monitoring the Fun Zone. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, have some experience supervising others and be able to instill a focus on customer service to the team. Hourly starting rate is negotiable based on skillset/experience.

Duties
- Supervise weekend staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service. Keeping them on task throughout the shift.
- Handle cash transactions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members to foster a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement store policies and procedures.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all parties are being attended to and assist party hosts where needed

Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role(1 year experience required minimum)
- Skills in inventory management.
- Proficient in cash handling practices with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in training staff is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving while maintaining a positive attitude with strong organizational skills.
