About Us
In preparation for the upcoming pool season, we have prepared some information for you that may be useful in helping you plan your pool use for the summer. Below you will find information on the pool season, daily public swim, season passes, pool party rentals, and more.
Dawson County Parks & Recreation aquatics facility is located at Veterans Memorial Park (physical address for pool is 32 Recreation Road Dawsonville, GA).
Pool Amenities
? Outdoor facility, consisting of 1 wade pool and 1 Olympic-size pool, which includes a diving board
? 3 Lifeguards on duty at all times during public swim hours
? 10-minute chemical check every hour (all swimmers must exit the water during the check)
? Sand volleyball court adjacent to pool
? Chaise lounge chairs, tables/chairs/umbrellas, and covered picnic tables (availability is first-come, first-serve)
? Concessions available for purchase
? Restrooms/showers onsite

Pool Season
Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day
? Saturday, May 23, 2015 - Monday, September 7, 2015
Once Dawson County schools start back in August, the pool will only be open for public swim on Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day.
Public Swim
? Public Swim hours: 12:00-5:00pm (occasional early closing due to memorial service)
? Open Monday-Sunday (weekends only once DC school starts in August)
? Daily Admission: $3 per person (cash only ? bills over $20 not accepted)
? Individual Season Pass: $30 resident / $50 non-resident
? Family Season Pass: $100 resident / $120 non-resident (5 mem
